Activated Carbon for Solvent Recovery
Activated carbon for solvent recovery is made from strictly selected top quality coal by intensive activation. High mechanical strength, regular shape, uniform particle size, large surface area and satisfactory system of macro-,meso-and micropores are characteristic of this activated carbon, having the advantage of rapid adsorption, low bed resistance, ease of regeneration and endurability. It is mainly applied for recovery and separation of organic solvent and its vapors, for example ether, ketone, alcohol, chloroform, fluorineform, aromatic,tatrahydrofuran, carbon disulfide etc.
